Since 1980, on the Sunday before Christmas, we have hosted the classic Corsa da Natal. Originally a local competition, it has grown to attract thousands of participants across various categories, becoming the longest-running popular race in Canton Ticino.
The different races are open to everyone—from children to grandparents, and from professional athletes to casual runners. The romantic, festively decorated streets of the beautiful village of Ascona create a magical atmosphere that leaves runners spellbound, drawing them back year after year to this world-renowned location.
