The first edition took place in 2014 in Locarno, alongside the Walking Ascona – Locarno event. Following its success, the event returned in subsequent years with a growing number of participants.
In 2018, the organisers made a major move by relocating the event to Lugano and expanding its scope.
The event offers a run (with 2.5, 5.0, and 10.0 km routes) and the Sunset Walking—a non-competitive 5 km walk at sunset.
For families, there is also the fun Family Run (open to the whole family), featuring a prize for the fastest family.
