22 Settembre - San Giorgio Trail

This fourth edition of the RAIFFEISEN San Giorgio Trail will let you run in an extraordinary and unique environment, as it is among the world's most important fossiliferous deposits from the Middle Triassic, a geological period ranging from 247 to 237 million years ago. You will therefore have the opportunity to discover or rediscover a naturalistic context of exceptional beauty just a few steps from home.
The race route will take you from the picturesque village of Riva San Vitale to the summit of Mount San Giorgio, tackling almost 900 meters uphill before descending back to Riva San Vitale along a ridge in the forest.

For those who enjoy walks, it is possible to register for the NON-TIMED AND NON-COMPETITIVE PANORAMIC WALK FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT RUN IN THE UNIQUE SCENARIO OF MOUNT SAN GIORGIO, A UNESCO HERITAGE SITE.
